Second Annual American Business Women’s Day Conference – Thursday, September 20

The UTSA Small Business Development Center will host its second annual American Business Women’s Day Conference on Thursday, September 20, from 7:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., as part of a mission to empower and inspire women business owners in the San Antonio area. The day’s schedule will include several panels and discussions with high-profile women leaders in the community. Featured speakers include Dr. Carmen Tafolla, Professor, College of Education and Human Development, UTSA; Senator Leticia Van de Putte, President, Andrade-Van de Putte & Associates; Councilwoman Shirley Gonzales, District 5; and Erika Prosper Nirenberg, First Lady of San Antonio & Senior Director of Customer Insights, HEB. Panel and discussion topics will include Women’s Equity, Entrepreneurship, Access to Capital, Public Policy, and Overcoming Adversity. Registration is $50 for an individual ticket and just $350 for a table of 8. Included is breakfast and lunch with free parking on-site at the Whitley Theological Center.
