SBDC Clients to Participate in Small Business Saturday

We’re proud to be a neighborhood champion for Small Business Saturday 2017!


The University of Texas at San Antonio Small Business Development Center has been selected as one of 6,500 organizations championing Small Business Saturday in their community.  Over 30 clients will be participating in the annual celebration that encourages holiday shoppers to “Shop Small”.  Below are some of our clients who are participating in this year’s Small Business Saturday Festivities.

Pinch Boil House and Bia Bar serves a unique fusion of southern style seafood with Asian influence.  Pinch started from a series of pop-up crawfish boils in San Antonio. They recently opened their doors in the Rand Building, serving downtown San Antonio food deeply rooted in the founder’s culture but still uniquely South Texas.


2tarts is a full service bakery located in the heart of downtown New Braunfels. Founded by two sisters, 2tarts Bakery focuses on producing quality baked goods completely from scratch.


Gruene Olive tasting room storefront


The Gruene Olive Tasting Room is a beautiful shop located in historic Gruene, Texas. They offer fresh Olive Oil & Vinegar on tap, Gourmet Chocolates, Pastas, Pesto, Sauces & much more.



Electric Coffee Shop is a local favorite in Boerne. They strive to be a daily necessity and first stop for commuters headed to face their nine to five jobs, exhausted stay at home parents preparing for carpool, sleepy kids headed to school, and true coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs who are searching for their next bean.

Urban Air is a large-scale indoor trampoline center hosting open jump, parties, fitness classes, dodgeball, and parties.


Zorba’s is a Mediterranean restaurant located on Military Highway in Castle Hills.  Their menu features regional Greek specialties, vegetarian, and kosher foods.  Desserts are made fresh and recommended with an Arabic Coffee.

Oh Fudge started with an award winning recipe.  A prize from the 2013 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo baking contest validated the power of creamy fudge. Since then, Oh Fudge has been seen at boutiques, pop-ups, and markets across Bexar, Kerr, Medina, Kendall, and Gillespie counties.  This Small Business Saturday, Irma and the Oh Fudge team will be selling at Market at La Villita in the heart of downtown San Antonio.
