Join us to learn more about InnovateHER, a women owned business pitch competition hosted by LiftFund, UTSA Small Business Development Center, TechBloc, and our local Small Business Administrative Office.  In our informational session, we’ll share with you: the rules of the competition, the process and calendar of the competition, and helpful tips to strengthen your application and your pitch. After the session we’ll provide information on how to get support with the application process and your business plan.

InnovateHER is a national prize competition aimed at unearthing products and services that impact and empower the lives of women and families through local business competitions that culminate in a live pitch Final Round. During the InnovateHER Finals, up to 10 Finalists will compete for the Top Three cash prizes totaling $70,000 provided by Microsoft. This year, the national InnovateHER Finals will be held on March 16 & 17, 2016 in the Washington, D.C. metro area as part of a larger Women’s Summit. 

Competitors for the prize must demonstrate:

1) how your product or service has a measurable impact on the lives of women and families, 2) how it has the potential for commercialization, and 3) how it fills a need in the marketplace.
