  1. What are you most looking forward to teaching when the customer service workshop at the UTSA SBDC? The facilities are excellent and the people I get work with are fabulous! So, I get to do something I love and work with great people at the same time!
  1. What are some of the key pieces of information an attendee will learn? A few highlights of the course. Attendees will learn the surprising secrets to giving great customer service. I am going to share with them why employees don’t give fabulous customer service at times and what to do about it! They will learn how to get employees to give great customer service!
  1. From your perspective, why is this an important course for small business owners/ entrepreneurs to attend? Small business owners and entrepreneurs need to find customers and keep them. Word-of-mouth advertising is the best way to accomplish that. Customer service is a powerful marketing tool and gets results! If you want to keep the customers you have now, find new ones, and keep them too, this is the seminar to attend!
  1. Your background and how you became connected with the UTSA SBDC? February 8th is my 46th year of teaching communication skills! Senior Business Advisor, Crystal Darby, whom I admire and respect approached me. I know Michael Espinoza who speaks so highly of UTSA SBDC that I had to get involved!
