Northwest Veterinary Medical and Dental Clinic

Northwest Veterinary Medical and Dental Clinic is a full-service animal hospital that offers high quality medical, dental, and surgical care services for dogs and cats. Dr. Ozgur Bilgic is a board certified medical and dental veterinarian. There are only a few veterinary dentists in San Antonio and this specialization sets Dr. Bilgic apart from other veterinarians.

Dr. Bilgic and wife, Kamuran, had a dream of opening their own veterinary clinic that offered medical and dental services for pets. The Bilgics met with Richard Sifuentes, Senior Certified Business Advisor with the San Antonio SBDC, to discuss business start-up issues. Richard worked with them on site research and selection, lease negotiation and contract review, company formation, contractor selection, business plan development, and marketing strategies. With Richard’s expertise, the Bilgics were successful in building their clinic in August 2009. The doors opened for business on October 31, 2009. The Clinic created four new jobs.
