Sharon Miller joined the Small Busines Development Center in 2011. She is our manager in charge of the expansion of the first satellite office servicing New Braunfels, Schertz and Seguin. Sharon has over ten years of banking experience. Prior to the banking industry Sharon worked for more than 10 years in the health care industry successfully managing the operations of health care service divisions, developing managed care initiatives and successfully managing business development for local and national health care companies.
Sharon advises clients on all aspects of starting or expanding a business, including business plan development, strategic planning initiatives and financial plans. With her banking and financial background she is effective in providing sound advice and counsel on financial planning and loan packages. In addition her business development, marketing and strategic planning skills give her clients the sales and development skills they need during start up and expansion stages of growth and development.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She also holds a professional designation as an Associate in Risk Management.
